- A bowling game has 10 frames in total.
- In each frame, players get 2 chances to knock down all 10 pins.
- In the 10th frame, players can get up to 3 rolls if they score a strike or spare.
- A strike is when all 10 pins are knocked down with the first roll of a frame.
- A spare is when all 10 pins are knocked down using both rolls in a frame.
- The highest possible score in a game is 300.
- Stepping over the foul line while rolling counts as a foul, and that roll will not be scored.
